Welcome to the PAF Mailing List site. This mailing list is designed to cover the needs and concerns of all PAF users (version 5.1 and earlier).

Please note that the list was removed from active service during March of 2008 due to list inactivity and also because there are well organised FHC (Family History Centers) all around the globe to help users of this wonderful program.

This mailing list was created by Ed Rogers in 1994 to help PAF users have an e-mail forum to ask questions, resolve problems, and discuss how to most effectively use the Personal Ancestral File genealogical program made by the LDS Church. Since the summer of 1999, the LDS Church offered a free release of the newest versions (up to version 5.1) through their Genealogical Website.

Two Type of Lists to Choose From

There are two versions of the mailing list available, regular and digested. The difference is that with the regular list you may get several individual posts a day but with the digested version posts may come every other day or so, depending on volume and frequency of posts. If you don't mind getting several posts a day, then the regular PAF list is just fine for you.

At this time, list archives are available to list members via both the mailing list program and here at the website. (see menu on the left side)
