Which version of FTW are you talking about here? I've got most versions below
5.0a which I can install. Right now I've got 4.4 and 5.0a installed they do not
have the above option. They only export to GED4.0 or 5.5 (using GED 4.0 doesn't
help the situation either :( ).

Wonderful ... it certainly appears that this is what they've done. What's
irritating beyond making incorrect GEDCOM is that in more "modern" versions (at
least in my 5.0a copy) they can't even be bothered to give you customization
knobs -OR- get LDS ordinance information mapped over correctly for you. That is
simply irresponsible, IMHO.
