I would urge caution in using the RIN/MRIN as a directory or filename
identifier. Especially using the versions 2.2/2.31 of PAF.
The RIN/MRIN numbers could be changed when deleting any of these numbers
and then following with a GED input and a MATCH/MERGE session. This could
make those RIN/MRINs unreliable as reference numbers. A suggestion might be
to use
the ID number that could be a unique number for that individual and is not
effected by the RIN/MRIN re-arrangement caused by GEDCOM and/or
MATCH/MERGE/DELETE operations.
