My understanding of PAF 3.01M is different. You do have to buy the original
version of PAF 3.01M but the upgrade that you download is free. You can
order it online, the cost is $15 plus any local sales tax.
Since PAF 3 and PAF 4 use the same database you can use a data file by
starting it from either program. No need to do a backup and restore. Just
use Open PAF 4 and search for the filename of your PAF 3 file and it will
open in PAF 4. If you created a data file using PAF 4 you can work with it
in PAF 3 by choosing Open a File not Shown. Or, if you have been using a
file in PAF 3, then went to PAF 4, you can go back to PAF 3. It will say the
file is now a PAF 4 file, but you can still use it.
I hope I have not confused the issue.
