What you need is the 3.01M and you can download it free from 
www.familysearch.org  First click on  Order Family History Resources then 
click on Software Downloads Free and follow the directions.
The data from that version of PAF is interchangeable with your 4-04 PAF.  You 
do not need to make a ged.com  just do a regular backup then RESTORE on your 
4.04 program. Let me know if this solves your problem.
