[PAF] PAF 4.x RIN call-up?
Is there a way in the new-improved PAF to say "show me RIN 12435" ??
Or, to say, "find me Charity Parsons" ?? Or to say "alt I" and see the
b-m-d data AND the notes on the same screen?
I didn't see it on the screen, I didn't spot it in the menus, and I have
vague recollection that the last one isn't possible in either 3 or 4.
I don't *want* to scroll through 2000 Cresap, 500 Creasap, 1300 Collier,
700 Collins, a host of Harmison, and the Miller movement to get to the
Parsons portion. I just wanna know if Charity is IN THERE.
OTOH, I did just use the Export GED to answer a few questions -- I think.
"All related Descendants" export *will* give me the parents of the spouse
of a 5th generation descendant, and the first spouse of a spouse won't it?
Those cute little > that aren't on the people it didn't pick would tell
me that this unpicked person is not connected in ANY way downstream from
the desired ancestor, wouldn't it?
(Yes, I'm doing some more QC on my database).
And, since I'm here -- where do I find the spot to tell the
book-producing subroutine that I want the notes to appear WITH THE PERSON
not as end notes.
