Installing PAF 4.0 will not delete your 2.31.  I have all three on my
computer now and none inteferes with the other.  Nor will 3.0 or 4.0
mess up the 2.31 files.  JUst install the programs into separate folders
where the default install asks.  

YOu can save individual files (if not larger than 1.4mg) to separate
disks and mail them snail mail or e-mail all the files as an attachment.

I still use 2.31 ( I prefer it to all others for the focus features)but
with all the added features of 3.0 and 4.0 they are worth having also.
Especially when doing Temple Ready.

Your cousin has the capability of creating a GEDCOM for PAF 2.31 using
4.0.  So you might consider this option if you want to stay away from an
upgrade of 2.31.
