Re: [PAF] N.A.P. (and all other utilities)

When PAF 3.0 came out I was so disappointed with the functionality of
the program. I actually prayed that it would not take a year or more to
get it updated and the many bugs fixed. I had love to use the old data
format of PAF 2.31 and the many utilities that had been written to aid
in manipulating the data. But with the new data format-- everyone that I
contacted to get an update for the new format, simply said that they
were not going to do it. Some said that the format was too complex to
work with. Well now we are into a Windows program, so how about us users
getting the utility owners to find someone that will do the program
writing for them-- I'm willing to put my money where my mouth is and
help. Several of the programs were so unique but were of great help.

I am disappointed by PAF 4.0.x, use of the global replace-- so I must
use Steve Cannon's PAF Pal for the new database format. Perhaps we
should push for open source code like the Linux OS.

Enough said,

Mark E. Gower
