Subject: [PAF] list & source question
Is there a way I can list a group of individuals in my PAF 3.0 file
and list their sources? For example: Can I get a report like this?
Rin Name Born/Died Source
1 Joan Oviatt 1876 1900 1880 U.S. Census...
Birth Cert.
1900 U.S...
2 John Oviatt 1917 1968 1920 U.S. Census...
As you can see, I don't need 200+ individual reports, just a simple
list with the sources will suffice. Even if the report doesn't look
like the above, if it can give me an RIN, name, and sources I would
be satisfied.
I'm at work now but I will go home tonight and play around to see if
I can get it done. If you reply to the list, please cc a copy to my
home email account (oviattj@juno.com) as I won't be able to get your
advice after 6pm Eastern time. But I will get it in the morning.

do it under a focus list to design your own print out and what sources
you want to do. Then after you create you can do a filter on the one you
want to print out.

Joan, use the focus option (U on the small pedigree screen)
After you select the people you want , go to Print (P)
On the print menu select Custom reports
Next select one of the 3 lists or use Add (A)
When in the "review/print custom reports" screen use the "F3" key to see
the options available , the two option screen toggle back and forth with
"F3" key. 41 is the "source title" .
Make a report like this for the kind of list you want.
RIN Name Birth Died Source title
4xxxx 1xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx 10xxx 18xxx 41xxxxxxxxxxxx
Confused????? Use your manual or the "alt H" keys to get help.

I want to thank everyone for their help. I got one answer at my home
email address and that helped me out a lot. Thanks also for posting
to the list so I don't have to do it now. :-) :-)
I've made some lists of individuals with certain sources. However,
on the report it only lists the first source for the individual.
This may or may not be the source I'm interested in. But it's not
bothering me at the moment, I'm simply happy I can select individuals
with certain sources. While converting my 2.31 notes to 3.0 sources
I discovered some sources weren't specific enough. I'm going to the
FHC this weekend so I hope to remedy that. Thanks again for help!
