Potato Piirakka Filling

2 cups cooked mashed potatoes
1/4 cup hot milk
2 tablespoons melted butter
salt to taste

Whip the potatoes with the milk, butter, and salt until smooth and fluffy. (If you are using instant mashed potatoes, you may not need to use the milk- the consistency of the potatoes should be about the same as for stiff whipped cream.) Fill and bake these piirakkaa according to the directions for Basic Karelian Piirakkaa, using the same basting sauce. Serve hot or cold.
